Rosemary is actually the great granddaughter of the witch Angéle de la Barthe. One quite notorious story circulated her great grandmother, and it was quite true. Great grandma Angéle gave birth to one of Lucifer's sons, a half demon wolf half human creature, and he was given the name Armand de la Barthe. Armand spent only two years with his mother before he disappeared into the shadows as his mother came under speculation for witchcraft. Years passed and Armand grew into an adult, and learned how to mask his beastly features, so he could blend into human society.

It was his blending into society that eventually found him married with a wife, and before long, a strapping young son. Even though Armand was slowly aging, neither his wife, nor his now grown and married son seemed to think much of it. Not to mention, they had never seen beyond the glamour Armand held every day. That all changed when Rosemary was born. Unlike her father, Rosemary had magical abilities... and could see right past her grandfather's disguise. Yet, Armand's fear quickly slipped away because it became clear Rosemary loved her grumpy old wolf of a grandfather.

The two became thick as thieves, and when she was old enough to understand, her grandfather revealed to her the wonderful- yet dangerous world of magic. Over the years, Rosemary found she had a rather competent craft for flames, White and Earth magic- healing, protection, and the like. Proud of her, and her heritage, Armand secretly took Rosemary under his wing and taught her how to use and control her magic, turning her into a powerful, confident, and kind witch.

Now a days, Rosemary spends time with her grandfather in his secret apothecary, perfecting her spells and potions away from societies curious eye. She also came to find out she inherited a little something from her grandfather... she was a were-hellwolf. During the nights of the New Moon, Rosemary transforms into a imposing hellwolf, a fearsome creature from the deepest pits of Hell, known for it's potent brimstone breath, monsterous strength and hallucinogenic laced fangs.
