Former democratic ruler of Wonderlandia, Embereaux was forcibly removed from the throne by Prince himself. Embereaux was surprised at the time that Prince didn't kill him, since his existence is an ongoing threat/challenge to Prince's illegitamate rule. Now Embereaux is confined to the castle, so that Prince can keep tabs on him.
A sweet, polite, somewhat meek, and extremely politcally-correct person, Embereaux always tried to be a good leader - but unfortunately had little idea of the horrors going on outside the captial under his reign. Having never left the immediate area, death-toll figures were mostly just sad figures on a page to him.
While he does not agree with Prince's forceful, dictatorial style of rule, Emberaux has come to understand that Prince has been able to bring a peace to Wonderlandia that he could not achieve.
Has become somewhat more shy and reserved after being removed from power. Spends his time making sure that he looks presentable, so as to not tarnish his family name, or wandering around the castle to see if there is anything simple he could help the servants with. Also enjoys sitting in the garden, or having tea with visitors to the castle.
