Kacey

Kacey wanted to live forever, and eventually he found the means to do so. The art of necromancy is difficult to master, but he somehow managed, and he used his art to sap the life force from others. It allowed him perpetual life, but with a consequence. While first learning he became too zealous, and lost some years. He was well into his thirties when he started practicing, is now over two hundred years old, but will always maintain the look of a thirteen year old boy. Does this bother him? Only in so much that he is short.

Necromancy was fun, but Kacey wanted to do something unique with his magic. He decided to form a circus of the undead, and to use his minions to summon more. He claims that his show is the greatest you will never see because in order to get in you have to already be dead. He acts as ringmaster to his circus, and the troupe is constantly on the road in order to evade being caught. The circus tent is pitched around a graveyard, but since the show only takes place late at night, few living beings ever witness things being set up. If they do, they quickly hurry away out of fear.

Kacey has evolved with the modern world - to a certain degree. He's not afraid to use technology, but most of it baffles him. He did not grow up with items like cell phones, laptops, and tablets, and he has no one to teach him how to use such things. A lot of the time Kacey will attempt to figure things out on his own, but he hasn't perfected doing so just yet. When in dire need for help, Kacey will mingle among living people. He hates doing so because people treat him like he's a child, but it has to be done. If Kacey needs other supplies, such as food or hygiene products, he's apt to send his minions out to steal whatever it is he needs. Unfortunately, he can't get away with sending a minion for technology advice since who knows what the undead might remember from such visits?
