Appearance Details

At first glance, one would be first to notice that he was, in fact, quite a blue sylvari. A firm bark-like texture covers the majority of his body, and he would appear to have a wax coating of sorts-appearing as a thin film over the skin if one were to look close enough. His face is worn with the troubles of life as a soldier, and the rigid lines of his face almost make him seem incapable of expression- though he can, in fact, be quite expressive given the right circumstances.

Long scales of hair emerge from the base of his skull and pull forward in shards, blue and mauve in color, and gather at the left side of his face to particularly obscure that eye. There is a subtle rise to the bridge of his pointed nose, dipping down to the rind of his upper lip, and inevitably to a narrow, pointed chin. His ears are perhaps the most delicate of his features. Pristine white blossoms are visible from beneath the stiff leaves arranged around them for protection. They glow faintly during all times of day and seem to open and close depending on his mood and concentration.

This sylvari typically has some sort of object strapped to his head, be it a metal-plated headband or the more likely optic enhancement lens which covers his right eye. Typical equipment includes standard-issue Vigil leather armor- its chest piece, tassets, and shoulders. For comfort, he prefers to wear a lighter leather coat and boots or plant 'grown' armor in the form of a draping skirt and large leaves that protrude from his back and envelope his shoulders.

For weaponry, Gareth keeps a few stun grenades on his person- no matter the occasion. Though those may be easily concealed, depending on the situation, his firearms of choice are not. The Pact shotgun and pistol are an obvious favorite, and he can be seen toting at least one of these around. Other pistols include a salvaged dredge reverberator, a tapered barrel flintlock, and the trusted steam revolver.
