                  About The Species 

The Baskaileer is a omnivorous animal it can be found in grassy wetlands or swamp like areas there they hunt their food an go for a dip in the water their large tails can propel them threw the water, they are a shy but curious species who when threatened will use their tail like a whip ,the males also use their tail to fight for dominance for breeding rights with the females of the group,if the female doesn't want to breed she’ll simply whack the male with her tail until she's ready or she may leave a group to find another male to breed with,they vary in colors males being slightly more colorful during breeding months then females who will go into a duller state of colors but otherwise are a beautiful array of colors matching the colors and patterns of a basilisk lizard, on rare occasions they will have extra fins or even have spikes going down their sides or even webbed hooves but these are exceedingly rare other rarities  are two crests,two  through three tails 

, two sets of back fins, fins on the legs, and an extra pare of protruding teeth

young: the species is both live birth and egg laying and can have only 1-3 rare occasions it can be 5, the young are known as fawnlers

•typically if it's one it's a live birth 

•if it's two it's egg laying on rare occasions it can be a live birth

•3-5 is an egg laying birth

differences between the male and female:

female:smaller in size ,fangs are shorter than the males, underbellies are scaled,crest is smooth and thick, colors are shorter on the body

males:large fangs, larger size, neck and underbelly are scaled spikes in between the first set of fins and back set, colors are higher in the body, crest is pointed and rigid underneath ,has horns
