Summary
The Embodiment of Chaos
Sprout is a rambunctious troublemaker who lives in the slums of Midgar. He has a notably childish demeanor and happy-go-lucky attitude, and is seemingly content despite his less than fortunate lot.
He is a notorious thief of the slums, infamous for stealing anything from anyone-- and never getting (physically) caught, nor returning any of the items. He is a thorn in any shopkeep's side, though he never does serious enough damage to anyone's livelihood to call for a bounty. Bold and fearless, Sprout also steals regularly from Shinra, with his most common prize being materials for explosives. He also steals from the Don, though less regularly as he is a considerably more vengeful target.
As a major thief of the slums, he is well-acquainted with others in his (and similar) professions, including Jessie, the Angel, Kyrie, and Beck's Badasses. There is particular animosity between him and Beck's gang as Sprout's hideout is in the Collapsed Highway, which the gang claims as their territory. This has led to regular skirmishes, though neither side will back down, resulting in an overall stalemate.
Also a gossipmonger and loves to collect information, causing him to be very knowledgeable about the goings on in the slums. While he spends most of his time in the Sector 6 and 7 slums, he also visits the children's hideout in the Sector 5 slums and regularly exchanges information with them.

Faris is Sprout's partner in crime.. and life? They have a very deep, if unusual friendship. While not in a traditional romantic relationship, they do most things together.
Also, Sprout is Faris's foodblood donor.

James is Sprout's other crewmate. Though they had a somewhat rocky start, it has evolved into a playfully antagonistic friendship. They love to mutually torment each other, though they would defend or protect the other from any real threat or insult. Probably. SIBLING RIVALRY!!!! 'nuff said.

Alfie is the closest thing Sprout has to a childhood friend, or perhaps a brother. They are very close, and Alfie was the only person Sprout felt any altruistic feelings toward before meeting Faris.
