Blackjack is a worm on a legs, just living his life as a long matted rope attached to a human body. Despite his odd appearance, Blackjack is about the most ordinary person he knows - he's plainly employed as a web designer and works from home in a nice little flat in a city neighborhood; and besides, he's not that out of place in his world.

He has little calling outside of work and hobbies, and he's alright with that - though he could do without his tendency to accidentally accumulate houseplants. While he wouldn't consider himself a coffee snob, Blackjack has a few favorite local cafes and likes the rituals of making fancy coffee. He follows several rock bands and loves going to concerts, and listens to a pretty long list of podcasts on the regular. Beside his more average interests, Blackjack skirts the edge of vulture culture; he thinks bones are neat and finds the academics of death beautiful. His friends aren't into in the hobby, but they're all nerds and appreciate it anyway. They've roped him into a long-running D&D campaign and he secretly enjoys playing MtG with them too, even though he's not very good.

More than anything, Blackjack is a mischievous sneak under his mundane everyday personality. He revels in lighthearted chaos and has the impulse control of a cat - which is to say, absolutely none whatsoever. He tries his best to be dignified but it fails him more often than he likes to admit. Directionless, but just here to have fun.
