Personality:
Jaide is a lonely individual without much drive to do anything in life for herself. If someone could be an anthropomorphic representation of clinical depression, Jaide would be it. She doesn't care much for her own wellbeing and views herself as disposable, willing to subject herself to disgraceful things to protect the ones she loves. While she's a hard worker, she struggles with intellectual pursuits and tends to stick with physical skills. This has led to her downfall on several occasions, including her death via a botched abortion in the main timeline of FE13.

Jaide was born on an army base in Okinawa, Japan on August 17th, 1995. Her mother died shortly after her birth due to several complications with the birth, which left her father no choice but to resign from the military to raise her. With his newborn daughter, he moved back to Kentucky, where they remained until 2009, when her father chose to immigrate to Japan out of dissatisfaction with the direction American culture was going in. Jaide was excited for the move, hoping that the bullying she had endured in the American school system would stop, and she might be accepted.
This ended up being far from the truth. Jaide endured nearly twice the amount of bullying she had previously tolerated, not only due to her foreign ancestry, but also due to her albinism. Jaide and her father moved around quite a bit, going wherever he found work. In May of 2011, they moved into Inaba, knowing almost nothing of the murders going on there, and also not knowing that Jaide eerily resembled one of the murder victims, a girl named Saki Konishi.
Fun Facts:
- Jaide is allergic to peanuts in all universes.
- Jaide was originally a fanchild for Henry in Fire Emblem: Awakening, but she just sort of...followed me to Persona 4 and decided to stay. I really wish she hadn't done that.
