Nightshade

(Old as heck OC that was originally made for a Danny Phantom OCT that unfortunately never truly got off the ground well it kind of did but everyone had pretty much dropped out by the 3rd round and that was not fun. He's connected with Rachel's story and pretty much starts traveling with her and Monochrome halfway through the story after the events of what I originally had planned for the OCT's storyline. This is pretty much his original bio with some changes. Any changes that directly tie in with Rachel and Monochrome will have (parenthesis) around them)

Name: Nightshade or just "Shade" as he's called by Lumos (Rachel likes to call him Night)

Species: Human-Ghost Hybrid

Orientation: Probably asexual or something, he's pretty disinterested in a lot of things.

Powers: Generic ghost powers like: invisibilty, intangibility, and flight along with dark ectoplasm (black ghost rays). Can “engulf” people in “dark matter” where he completely blocks off the senses of sight and hearing, and has some teleporting abilities. He is able to teleport himself and three other people 10 miles away at the most and can also teleport some mid-sized objects like say a car. The portals are just another form of his teleportation ability and he cannot teleport himself, someone, or something into another dimension. He is only limited to whatever dimension he is in. Like if he's in the Ghost Zone, he can only teleport, with his limitations, in the Ghost Zone.

Occupation: (ex)Servant/bodyguard of Azrael

Personality: Calm and quiet, very polite, rarely speaks unless spoken too, and very mellow. Also very socially awkward and introverted. Hates interacting with people and can seem rather stuck-up because of it. Because he rarely talks people sometime mistake him for being mute. Acts pretty emotionless most of the time. (Once he becomes acquainted with Rachel and Monochrome he starts to open up a bit, albeit unwillingly)

Likes: Peace and quiet, being alone, not being bothered by Lumos, dark, wide spaces, dogs, and night time. (Also honestly likes spending time with Rachel, being in the human world even if it can be rather noisy, sleeping, and getting to eat as much as he wants)

Dislikes: Loud noises, daytime, cats, sweets, people asking about what his "real" background is, and his partner Lumos to a certain extent oh who are we kidding he hates the guy's guts. (Monochrome to an actual certain extent to where he can actually stand him unlike Lumos, when Rachel gets hurt, and when people try to hurt his new friends)

Bio: Appearing out of thin air with Lumos and their master Azrael in the Ghost Zone, Nightshade is considered an oddity. He is actually a halfa, but it is not known as to how he got his powers, what he looks like as a human, what his real name is, or how old he is, and unfortunately, he's not talking. If he’s not following Azrael and his other servant Lumos, or helping out with the tournament, then he’s usually slinking off somewhere in the dark stalking one of the competitors, making sure that they don't try to cause any trouble and ruin the tournament. It seems like he’s been in ghost mode for so long that he almost has forgotten what its like to be human…

(After the events of the tournaments where he becomes no longer "employed" by Azrael, Nightshade falls into a natural ghost portal that leads him to literally falling right on top of Rachel and Monochrome. After begrudgingly getting acquainted with each other, Nightshade makes the first real choice that he's made in a long time and decides to follow Rachel and Monochrome as they seach for a cure for her.)
