Ankha is a very kind and caring person. When she was in any place in her country, she always visited all of her people and would teach the children's classes. She had people who always advised her and people to do everything for her, but she loved to be able to do things on her own when she could get away with it. She loves to travel and to be independent, but her social standings wouldn't allow it at times.

She's very intelligent when it comes to strategizing, as well as diplomatic affairs and usually knows what needs to be said and when. She's very talented with fighting, as she's agile, quick, light on her feet, and has great reflexes. She's only fought a few times in her life, most of them being during the war that came to her city, while the others were sparring matches in preparation. She's very courageous and definitely doesn't back down or stand by when someone needs to be defended, even if she doesn't know them.

Background info

When Ankha was alive, she was being prepared to become the ruler of her country. She was forced into ruling at age 15. Because of her personality however, she was definitely not what the people where used to seeing from a ruler. She put her people before her, she traveled to help those who needed it, and she sometimes took over the teacher's classes in schools she went to for the younger kids and taught them for the day. There wasn't anything Ankha wouldn't do for her people, and there was nothing her people wouldn't do for her. Her kindness had spread throughout the country, bringing crime and murder rates to an all-time low.

Years later, when the soldiers of the neighboring country arrived, that's when all the trouble began. One by one, the main city, where Ankha's residence was at, stopped receiving word or anything from the cities, towns, and villages along the boarder of the country, and the village people loved to send her letters the most. She received a declaration from the massive troup's leader a few weeks after places left and right stopped sending things out, that if she were to not surrender her country to the ruler of the neighboring country, that the armies he had sent out into her country would keep killing everyone they came across. She was filled with rage and sorrow over the loss of all of those innocent people that she couldn't do anything for. Instead of killing the messenger like the rulers before her would have done, she sent him back with her own message.

"Stop the slaughter of my people immediately. If you wish to have a fight and take my place, then send them to my city immediately. After all, what point is there to rule a country with little to no people alive in it to rule over. When we defeat your army, you are to never return to this country ever again, and you can consider our diplomatic ties severed immediately from the moment you receive this letter. You will regret the day you decided to step foot on my country's sand and soil."

Over the next few weeks, Ankha gathered an entire army of people, from elders to teens to women to disabled that were all willing to lay their lives down to keep their country safe. Ankha trained in combat with them as well, slowly becoming one of the best female fighters in her country. There was no way she was going to ask most of her country to lay down their lives for her if she wasn't prepared and willing to lay hers down for them as well. The neighboring country's army arrived, and the war ensued. In the end. They struck down all of the enemy soldies, but not with heavy casualities on their side as well. During the celebration of their victory, one of her advisers stepped forward and stabbed her through the back, forcing the dagger all the way through and it came out on the other side in the dead center of her chest. Everyone gasped as her body fell down a large flight of stairs that she was about to walk down to meet her people and cried tears of anger and sorrow at their kind ruler's death. In the end, her country was taken over due to the fact that the neighboring ruler had placed spies into her ring of advisers. All of their hope and everything she and everyone fought for disappeared by the time her body came to a stop in front of all of them at the very bottom of the stairs. She fought for them until her very end, and in the end, they all buried her together, putting flowers and gifts and everything else in her burial place with her for her to bring into death and to show their love and appreciation for everything she did for them. They ended up building a memorial for her on top of where she was buried, and over time, beautiful flowers began to grow around it and the soil turned fertile again when it hadn't been for decades. They see her as a deity of kindness for the way she ruled and are always leaving things at her statue.

Trivia

  • She can play the ocarina quite beautifully.
  • Although she did her absolute best, Ankha feels that she failed her people and that they now hate her.
  • She sometimes wishes she hadn't ended up loving forever in the after life and that she had just died after her body did.
  • She used to be excited to rule when she was a kid because she thought it would make her the next best thing to a princess, but it wasn't all it was cracked up to be once she was the ruler as she never really got to have the childhood she wanted that everyone else had.
  • She has slight PTSD, but it only affects her when she dreams about the events. She has night terrors often and will violently scream and thrash about until it either passes or she wakes up, but waking up launches her into a panic attack, which she almost always throws up in the middle of.

Artist tips

  • The scar between her chest that shows where the dagger went through is optional
  • She permanently looks to be in her early 20's because of the age she died, so unless you're drawing her when she was alive, please don't draw her younger or older
  • Her sclera in her eyes are black, as well as her pupil to show she is dead. Her irises are gold.
  • Before she died, she was 100% human. The ear-like decor on the top of her head only appeared after she died.
