Gabriel Smith was a clever stage performer who entertained hundreds during his career, he was known for his funny characters and excellent performances.

One day he was on a boat going to an overseas show. The boat was destroyed and he washed ashore in The Rift Kingdom. From there he had to live on the streets performing for the villagers. He struggled to keep himself fed.

This was all happening while Prince Shriek was creating his undead army. So Shriek thought he could kill two birds with one stone, get a test subject and clean up the alleyways.

After The Prince murdered the cat in cold blood and resurrected him, Gabe donned his new persona: Mischief.

Mischief vowed to kill the prince in the most cunning yet outlandish and theatrical way. He can use his own heart as a voodoo doll and hurt others with it.

He doesn’t mind the other villagers and has no desire to hurt them, He also has no interest in killing The King considering he's never met or saw him before.
