You'd hardly know Akeno is a minor deity of light, considering you rarely ever see him at his shrine. He's a boisterous ofuyumi, and particularly young for one too, often found flitting about the city trying to make new friends and learn about human culture - even if that means shouting out lines from anime protagonists in greeting, believing it's normal. Despite his eccentric behaviour, he's a sweet individual, just curious about the world outside the shrine.

• Quotes manga/anime/cartoons every once in a while thinking it's how normal people (like "my friends are my power!!")
• When tending to his shrine, he may talk to troubled mortals masked + hooded, who believe he is a random stranger. He does this in attempt to console them and 'bring light' to their lives in a sense. however, he always disappears after they gather the strength to move on - namely bc he assumes no mortal wants to keep up a permanent contact with him.
• Admires the major blessed ofus since his creation. Tries to be like them.
• He is obsessed with mortal cartoons and comics, especially if they revolve around friendship and love. He loves them so much he will angrily sulk in the corner with a copy of the latest edition of one of his favourites if you make him upset.
• He's around 100 years old.
