Taiga looks like a delinquent, but that's really all it is. Just looks. He's completely in love with the romanticized versions of yakuza and delinquents on TV and in manga, and wishes to be just like them! Rough and tough, but loyal at heart. Which is actually what he is. Taiga is innocent verging on stupid as he is quite ignorant to the realities of the underworld. 

His favourite movies are Yakuza movies from the 80s about friendship. Taiga is also extremely good at fighting due to attending a dojo since he was a child.

sR e l a t i o n s h i p ss

 sUsaru : Usaru is Taiga's best friend despite their constant teasing. They push each other around and chase after each other when the other one does something stupid, but in the end these two still hang out all the time and support each other when the other is feeling down. Usaru and Taiga can be found always hanging out with each other and Taiga sometimes wonders what it would be like to be someone like Usaru - So fragile (in body) but so stupidly confident (in mind)

 sDan : A mutual bonding over the pop star sensation Chip brought them together. Without meaning to these two fell for each other and now they are two halves of a whole idiot. They are the definition of idiot couple lmaooo. They are very supportive of each others fanboying as well as just in general being each others hype men. Very special, very pure boys, but also very dumb.
