Commission Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my terms of service mentioned below.

GERNERAL INFORMATION

I have the full rights of the drawing, which means that I am free to post the commissioned piece in any platform to promote myself.
As the commissioner, you are free to re-post the commissioned piece anywhere you desired as long as you give me the proper credit.
If the commission is not an icon or a pixel, then 2 files will be sent to you: the original (full resolution and no watermark) and a copy (smaller file and with my watermark).
The art is for personal use only. Unless this has been communicated to me beforehand or the commission was made with the objective of commercial use, the art piece cannot be used for profit.
By commissioning me, you are acknowledging that you are purchasing a digital good and no physical good will be delivered.
I hold all the rights to reject your commission.

PAYMENT

I will only start the piece after receiving the payment. Full payment upfront.
I only accept payment through PayPal and DeviantArt Points.
For Paypal, an invoice will be sent to you once I have accepted your commission.
For DeviantArt Points, a widget will be created especially for you to send the points. Do not send it to the donation pool unless I clearly state it in our conversation.
If after the 72 hours mark, I have not received your payment, I will void the commission request and you will have to contact me again.

BEFORE COMMISSIONING ME

Be sure to have good visual references for your character(s). I may require the full resolution and without a watermark if it is obstructing my view of important details.
Browse through my DA Gallery to see my most recent art style and to know how my style is. If you wish for a style from another artist or an entirely different style than what I offer, then I am not the correct person to do your commission.

PROCESS SHOTS / W.I.P. / CHANGES

Depending on what type of commission you have requested, a watermarked sketch will be sent to you, to which you are free to request changes. After I have executed the changes, I will send the sketch again to get your confirmation. A maximum of 3 corrections can be made per commissioned piece.
I will try to follow the reference colour palette as best as I can. However, if the colour palette seems to not match my style, I may need to change its saturation or opacity.
After delivering the final result, you can ask for minor changes only (such as colour correction). Major corrections will not be done.
If you desire any major corrections, this can be done at an extra fee.

REFUND AND CANCELLING

After I have started the commission, any refunds will not be allowed unless I am unable to do your commission (maybe due to lack of time or skill to deliver a good final product)
If after the 3 months mark I have not delivered the product, you are free to ask for a full refund unless I have already started it.
Filing a charge back through PayPal will result in blocking you and blacklisting you for any future interactions. Your commission will be used freely by me and you will lose your rights to it.

DELIVERY TIME

Depending on what is happening in my life, your commission's delivery time will be affected. However, I will try to get it done as soon as I can.
I will inform you if there is something up in my life that will prevent me for completing your commission, but rest assured that I will get back to it when the problem is resolved.
The waiting time for your commission can last 3 months (this has not happened yet). After this period of time, you can choose to keep waiting or ask me for a full refund (given that I have not yet started your piece).
If by any reason you wish for your commission to be bumped up in my to-do list, you will be required to pay an extra fee.
For specific delivery dates, inform me well ahead to time to coordinate the details and give me enough time to work on the commission without needing to pay extra.
