A problem my friends and I come across frequently is when we have an artwork to upload, but there is a different version or two of the same drawing, it becomes a chore to decide which one to upload.
An easy solution, I can already hear people saying, is to simply upload them both?? But then the character’s art count is off. This may not matter to some people, but many others (my close friends and myself included) are quite strict when it comes to character’s and their amount of art.
my suggestion is a feature to upload an “alternate” image, that is attached to the original (think; an unfiltered drawing, while the “alternate” image has chromatic aberration added) an alternate image can be indicated by an icon, the same way gore/nudity is indicated, and the alternate image can be viewed upon clicking on the image, along with the original. this way both versions of the image can be displayed, while keeping the character’s art count accurate, as well as preventing their gallery from being clogged with countless duplicate images.
