Tanzanite would probably start with:
A sewing needle and thread (To modify clothing and such)
Waterproof Notebook
Comfortable Clothes
A small sword or knife
A small jewelry box for silver jewerly
When you start out a new rpg, ttrpg or game in general characters tend to come with starting equipment, sometimes useful, some times lore relevant and sometimes totally random. Or a mix of everything.
So if the OC above was a playable character what would their starting equipment be?
Example:
Person 1: posts character
Person 2: I think they would have throwing knives, a logbook, some rope, a sentimental necklace and a briefcase
posts character
Person 3: Their crown, a golden staff, a crystal orb, a random assortment of herbs and their familiar

And so on :D

I'm guessing Soul would start with:
- soul torch (or lantern)
- Gold (either a nugget or bar)
- Some kind of weapon (I can imagine either a mace or bow and arrows or whatever to do maximum damage jic)
- food (can be anything useful like beef or chicken since it's filling or something as random as a cake or an apple)
- armor or just clothing in general
Oh this seems fun! I can see Cachan with:
- A mace or a flail as his weapon
- Some tinder and matches so he can kindle a fire
- A map, that he actively adds notes to and fixes as he goes along and stuff
- Definitely a hardy waterskin to stay hydrated
- Poison darts, just incase he needs to attack or defend from afar
