another thread time; this time inspired both my a single honest random thought of the oc above thread, and also the random thoughts for the art above thread, as well as the other various “random thought(s)” threads
similar to the “random thoughts for the artwork above” thread basically you just post a single honest random thought of the artwork posted above you; this time it’s just one single somewhat lower-effort thought rather than a series of more higher effort thoughts. it should be about a good sentence ish in length, up to a few sentence is fine as well, responding ooc
ex. “i wonder what inspired that color palette you used in the piece”
there’s some rules, so let’s cover them; please message me if any issues come up in the thread so i can take care of them!
- do not just simply say “i like the artwork” ”that’s a good artwork” or anything along those lines; if you’re gonna say something like that, put some more effort and creativity, something like “i really like how you pulled off the shading in the piece”; “love the pose of choice; i think it fits the character super well”
- no nsfw/18+ content can be present in the drawing you want the next person to respond to; following the toyhouse guidelines, non-sexual/artistic nudity is fine provided it is filtered + has a warning for artistic nudity + it doesn‘t contain 18+ content at all
- if there is sensitive content present in the drawing (ex. bright colors/eyestraining effects, gore, phobia-inducing content, some sensitive topics, etc), make sure you filter it by putting it under a spoiler and adding a warning near the spoiler with the content it contains
- you can still spoiler even if it doesn’t have sensitive content to save space; just don’t put a warning
- don’t say rude things, please. i wouldn’t recommend offering unsolicited critique either unless the above user has specified critique is okay
- the artwork doesn’t have to be on toyhouse, or it doesn’t have to be of your own characters only; you can link, say an artfight attack or a piece uploaded to another site
- wait 3 posts after you before going again; if 24 hours have passed since the previous, disregard this rule of its entirety
- have basic forum etiquette; don’t skip people; if the latest post is a “you blocked this user” or “this user blocked you”, wait until someone else who you didn’t block or blocked you posts; if you get sniped by one, just delete your post; if you’re a mature-locked account, please be very mindful as minors post/have access to this thread as well
i thought the little squiggle doodle background was unique for drawings; haven’t seen that much like it + it adds to his personality a lot
next person, start out with this sketch page
v yeah i’ve actually been making a lot of hearts out of gum wrappers lately, even starburst wrappers; the swedish flag is also what they put on the meatballs they serve at ikea so last time when i was there that was when i collected several of those kjdflkasdjklasjkl
I like the Swedish flag made with a toothpick along with the gum wrapper heart. I feel like it gives the piece a lot of quirk to it
Josephine and her boyfriend Nephi :]
The amount of details like the roads signs, roads itself and the speedlimits!! There's so many honestly props to you for not confusing each one of them lmao..
Casual Quinn mention
Wow! I love it! It's giving off some strong 2010's vibes here, don't know why but it's an absolutely amazing piece, just like the rest of your work! Great job here!

Ooh really well done with the pose! I imagine something like that would have been tricky to pull off, especially with that angle, but it's done really well! Also I like the colour scheme, the clothes folds, and the flowers in pots in the background.

the detail of the waves is so cool and i thought the placement was super creative; also loving the whale a lot as a cetacean enthusiast
I really like the white outline, it makes it look like a sticker of some sort! And I also like how it moves along with the animation.
