no where in their lore does it state they are meant to look permanently like childrne, actually it states they come in all shapes, sizes, ages, and forms, the creator of it has even created ones that are super old or completely differnet body types then skinny and youthful. I think you're confusing species lore with how most people perhaps decide to draw them or what to do with their own personal one.
If you look through all the dainties out there already made you'll see plenty that are very clearly older/mature and not youthful looking -shrugs-
also their tongues have an aprodisiac type quality, not addictive, they are different. and I agree it's the one trait of the race that makes me lift an eyebrow but in the end it's such a minor thing and something the creator themselves says is different for each one. and their codependant personalities has various degrees of it too depending on where the dainty is from among other things. some aren't codependent at all while others are only becuase of necessity.
Either way I don't really know why you felt the need to come on this thread where people are obviously excited/happy about something just to spout your own negative opinions about it. Kinda uncool. Just makes it seem like you wanna hate on it because it's something popular and you wanna be antagonistic for the sake of antagonism, without any real research into the subject matter on your part.
Also, as someone who regularly wears knee-high socks and stockings every day of my life because I Just genuinely enjoy them, but am asexual and thus would not wear them for any sort of sexual purpose, I take offense to you saying stockings are inherently fetishized.
