➤Spiritual Sight/Awareness: Rei is gifted with psychic and spiritualistic abilities, one of them  being clairvoyance or precognition to predict events of the future.  Premonitions would come to her as images in her mind or a simple  feeling. For more direct predictions she see them by reading flames or  by deeply meditating. She can also sense auras, spirits, other humans,  demons and divine or supernatural beings.

➤Foreign Forces Expulsion:With  the help of spells, talismans or seals she can cancel, remove or  exercise foreign beings that enter to posses a physical body or object.  When within the presence of demons or evil spirits she can She can repel  or weaken and even seal them away.

Appearance:

(Picture) Young, beautiful, slender, bronze-red hair with sharp ruby eyes. She'll wear her traditional dress kimono while on duty at the  shrine. Her off duty casual attire would normally be tighter and  slightly suggestive, showing off her figure.

Personality:

Unlike common shrine maidens, Rei outside the shrine throws all her  religious upbringings and practices out the window to live life to the  fullest, even though her daring streaks could get her in trouble.  However, on duty she takes her job seriously. She's typically a  Tsundere, she tends to be cold and distrustful of most people and it  takes work for her to warm up to anyone. She use her rare abilities to  make extra money with fortune telling and will even hustle and scam into  winning when it comes to gambling. Besides her cold and mischievous  side behavior, she is confident and has an occasional charming attitude  that allures most people. 

Bio/Background:

Rei Aiko's  family was killed shortly after she was born during the previous  devastating war. It had happened when the enemy shogun of Kyoto had  attacked the city. The enemies deciding to pillage through the city of  Kyoto and the surrounding villages had gone to burn down the Aiko house  and temple to diminish the local people's faith. Rei and her grandfather  having survived that tragedy, he is now her only family left in the  world. He rebuilt the shrine and temple into a grand estate and raised  Rei as a shrine maiden. Due to the rarity, many believed that the  existence of mikos that possessed supernatural abilities were mere myths  told by the elderly, but it had turned out that Rei had shown signs of  having those abilities from the moment she could walk. Rei's grandfather  trained her in the ways of the ancient priests and priestesses while  making her keep her extra skills a secret in order to protect her. With  time, old age and blindness afflicted him so most of the  responsibilities of the shrine were passed on to Rei.
