Yuuichiro is a student who works as the assistent of a police detective, Kurosawa, in his free time. Although he loves investigation stuff you could say he wasn't very happy with his currently position. But, when a old and misterious serial killer's case come back to everyone's atenttion, he founds himself in need to work alone to find who is behind that serial killer, the Monster without face, and eventually find out what hides in his past that even he doesn't know.

TMIY (TheMonsterInYou) basicaly consists in the seasons 1 and 3 ("The Monster in your Soul") of the story "The Monster in the Mirror" (the first one). Though I call them seasons, it's more like three individual stories that complements each other. So, still if you didn't read the first part you can understand the second ("One Chance to Cheat") or the third etc, but if you're really gonna read it, I recommend to read all of them, this way everything will fit better. (I write in portuguese btw and this is a project very very very away to be concluded so yeah... wait. I'm slow)
