For a decent part of his childhood, right up until around the time he was married (19), James was a pretty petty crook. He'd swipe just about anything he could get his hands on, including plenty of gifts for Rosemary.

James can sing, play the guitar, play the piano and even write music. He just never applied himself to it in any sort of a way that might have lead to a career.

James absolutely hates the naming convention that his parents seemed to have employed and he refuses to call most of his siblings by their first name. If you call him Clayton, you better run for the hills.

James has a tattoo over his heart that's a small heart with a sprig of rosemary over it. Because of course he would have that.

James and Rosemary both have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Bonnie and Clyde, going so far as to dress up like them for themed parties, restore an old 1934 Ford V8 and name two of their children after them.

He's a fairly decent mechanic and car restorer, having learned from his older brother. He can fix most general car problems and can diagnos a decent amount of others but, again, he never applied himself to it as a career, particularly after he dropped out of high school. He just does it for necessity/fun now.
