Wendell was in a teen gang for a long while but was eventually forced to straighten himself out and put his energy into something more productive. Wendell has been in therapy and support for teens since he was around 17 and originally received Hopscotch as a therapy kaidachi. Hopscotch helped a lot in his development and he is now wanting to help other kids best he can, despite not being anywhere near the end goal. He's interested in using the prize to help others and the cup helps him work through his issues. Despite all the help, he is still violent when pushed and not easy to call off.
