About
Adwell is a priest with experience fighting beings from hell. His specialty being demons of course. Having been trapped with a demon of his own for quite some time, he has since learned to live with his demon and work with it to fight fire with hellfire.
Design
- Uncomfortable with vampires. He can’t tell if they’re good or bad right off the bat. The blood sucking weirds him out too.
- When he’s not fighting hellspawn, Adwell loves to swing dance.
- He’s born in America to English parents. Has a bit of an accent. (Alucard’s from Netflix’s Castlevania)
- Every now and again can be seen seemingly talking to himself. He’s actually just talking to his demon, Iocidus.

Character
We've all heard of 'inner demons' but Adwell's demon is quite real and one he struggles to control every day. Having received the demon from a botched exorcism, the exorcist; Father Adwell Morris, now uses his demon's powers to do good. Adwell is a priest who is not afraid to kill if need be. A brutal solution for only the most deserving. Because Adwell kills and has partnered up with a demon to do so, he has accepted the possibility of eternal damnation. If his damnation means that countless lives had been saved, then it was worth it in his eyes.
Personality wise, Adwell is both a reserved and playful kind of guy. Knowing when it's time to play and when it's time to be serious. Having grown up a mischevious and unruly child, Adwell has since mellowed out to become the man he is now. Although his tendency to become angered quickly hasn't left him...
[DEMON] Adwell's demon is a powerful one. One that only Adwell or any other strong-willed priest or one of faith may be able to contain and control. This demon is sly, cunning, and a chameleon when it comes to changing his personality in order to get what he wants. Adwell's demon so long as it wants to roam on earth must possess others or risk being noticed by angels and sent back to hell. The demon wish to change that rule. He wishes for demons to rise above angels one day and control as much of Earth as possible. And he's wanting to use Adwell for it.

The more of his demon he accepts, the more powerful he becomes... but Adwell won't fall into temptation so easily.

Strength:
Due to his connection with his demon, Adwell is able to heal injuries. Bullets, broken bones, etc. Separate Adwell from his demon, or completely get rid of the body and he'll be down. Of course Adwell won't make it easy...

Adwell loves what he does and doesn’t see himself doing anything else and enjoying it to this degree. He used to be a human priest, and now here he is with supernatural abilities.
The power of having a demon inside him is intoxicating. It’s addicting, and it’s also a constant struggle to keep in check everyday. Demon’s enjoy using their hosts wants and desires in order to corrupt them and take over their body. Adwell’s demon is no exception.
Adwell is polite and kind, but one can easily tell there’s more to him than meets the eye. He’s a man of many secrets, and he’d like to keep it that way.
Adwell loves cozy environments and enjoying a cup of tea by the fireplace. During his quiet offtimes you can find him reading a book snuggled up on his chair.

Boyfriend
There's no better match for a priest than a man who proudly lives in varying amounts of sin. Ivan dabbles with the occult in search of his brother, and once Adwell spotted him dealing with demons, the priest took Ivan in to be his apprentice. As time went by the priest found himself feeling more for Ivan than socially acceptable between a priest and student, but after some convincing, the priest accepted his feelings for the man and now deals with the struggles of keeping his vows and keeping the one he loves happy.

A reminder of mistakes past
He was weak, his demon took advantage of it. It wasn't him and he was powerless to stop. Or so he continually tells himself. Having been a pupil under his care, as well as harboring a relatively newly acquired demon, Adwell's newfound confidence started the path to Charlotte Gray's abandonment of God.
Merrik Sanderson
A close friend
Having met due on the streets as he was passing out church flyers, Merrik and Adwell quickly became acquainted. Sure it may have been due to a misunderstanding of the word 'celibate' but such a mistake was quickly fixed as the two's friendship began to form. Adwell considers Merrik a close ally and someone he almost would trust his life with if it came down to it.
