Once they were very close. As the former president of Evite, they have taught Jonathan everything he needed to know, so one day he could run the business himself. What Jonathan couldn't imagine is that they would dissappear when the family needed them most. No one has heard of Choli since the attack on Nomination Day, nor there has been a body to be found. |
His care for his sister is something that goes beyond his general character. Overprotective and very supportive of her Gift's grown, a perfect brother. You see, it's a rare treat to have a Overseer on your side, and to shape such raw power into the perfect tool? It's an unrefusable opportunity. Rather than their own parents, Jonathan has been in charge of the kid's education since Choli's disappearance, and has introduced her to the family business from a young age, so when she reached her full potential as a Seer, she would fit just fine into Evite, and into her brother's plans. |
For an employee, Jonathan knows very little about her. He knows that the woman has been working with his father for years, long before Lilium and he were born, but he's not certain of what are her duties in the company, or why the rest of the crew seem to look up to her more than him. As he searched for her file, he found that it was secured by his father's iris, leaving a bad taste on his mouth, for it should've been unlocked the moment Choli was legally dead. Jonathan has not confronted Ametyr about it, but he can't help but have a bad feeling about having the woman so close to his business and his family for so long. |

She was supposed to teach Disposables sign language and decodification methods, but after learning about his mother from Lilium, she volunteered to care for their mother. After befriending Jonathan's sister it was hard to refuse. Her monitor and translation system are the only gen 3 tech allowed inside the house, which she uses to communicate with those who can't sign, as well as teach from a distance from the Evite central. She is... Hm. So. Vaena is a good employee and a friend of the Ethels. |
A weight on his shoulders, one of the few. After being attacked a few days after her spoise's dissappearance, Quilynn cut all communication from the outside world, including relatives. This lack of contact made her expect more of her children, as if she was trying to lock them up with her, going as far as prohibiting the use or third gen tech inside her home in Dissae. Jonathan seem to be uncapable of refusing his mother's requests and often misses important meetings only to stay a day more in Dissae and appease her. Years after her reclusion from society, she started opening up more to the world outside her wooden doors. Jonathan inicially thought this could be a freeing experience for the three of them, but he would later realise this would lead to Quilynn getting back Evite, which by law is rightfully hers. He could not let it be taken from him. |
