Madzi

Early life

Akuma grew up an orphan never meeting his parents and never caring to find out. He grew up around many other kids most of which had lost their parents due to finances or the game. He often got along with all these kids and was quite charismatic making many connections during his childhood. Kids at these orphanages almost never are adopted due to the lack of benefits given to parents who adopt, this was never a problem however since the staff typically were kind people excluded from the game. Once Akuma turned 18 and was qualified for the game he left his orphanage and turned his back to the game resorting to opening his own oriental corner store through work and the connections he had made through his life.

Meeting

By the time Akuma met Madzi his store was well known by locals. It was never crazy busy but it did alight for itself. One night while taking out trash to the alley connected to the store he was shot at by an unknown person. Akuma luckily was able to dodge with it only slightly grazing his cheek. He ran making an effort to throw the attacker off balance. Eventually he was able to knock him out revealing him to be Akuma's target for that year. Instead of killing Madzi and taking the hefty cash bonus he brought the kid to a safer spot in the alley and left back to his store.

Over the next few weeks Madzi would return to Akuma's store attempting to assassinate him with little success. One night when Akuma was returning to his store for the night he discovered the kid sleeping outside the store looking much frailer than most people his age should've looked. The next day when Madzi returned to his store once again Akuma handed him a broom. Akuma offered him a job and the open room he had upstairs. Madzi did not take this gesture kindly and lashed out. Akuma was forced to quickly explain that even if he succeeded in killing him he would be out of a job for the next year. Madzi finally agreed to the condition of working for Akuma for a place to live comfortably. Unbeknownst to Akuma of the handful he just invited into his shop.
