Élodie, once known as Nymraya, was the goddess of divinity and the unofficial queen of witches. In scripture, she is described as having the body of a ball-jointed doll, having unsurpassable beauty, and a heart made of pure gold. She was known as kind and generous, always giving to others and rarely accepting anything in return. Because of this, Nymraya became a beloved leader to those around her.

Her overwhelming kindness attracted curious humans, who soon became her disciples. To Nymraya, these individuals were equals, and she was more than happy to share her knowledge with them. Jibrille was one of those closest to her, and sought more than just her kindness. Her loyalty and companionship turned sour the more Nymraya's following grew. Deep down, Nymraya felt the tension, but hoped that remaining passive would fix the situation.

On the night before the Eve of Union, Jibrille invited Nymraya to dance, and Nymraya knew that it would be her last. She had been arrested the following day by Jibrille's followers, and burned at the stake on the very stage she had danced the night prior. After obtaining Nymraya's powers, Jibrille threw herself into the fire, sacrificing herself in order to permanently destroy any remanents of Nymraya.

While Nymraya's physical body was destroyed, Jibrille was unable to completely erase her existence. Her soul still rests within her calcified body deep inside the Grove of Whispers, the forest she once called home. Nymraya was powerless to stop the chaos and destruction that followed her execution, and she could only pray for her remaining friends and followers to find peace in her absence.
