Chauncey | They/She | Bondmate to Venice | Sister to Everett
Born to parents who wanted a son, Chauncey has never bent to their parent's wills. Constantly unhappy in a family who wanted her to be something they are not, they ran away. While Everett spent her time fencing and learning court etiquette Chauncey took the less valued lessons- according to their parents- in archery and stealth. They soon became an effective hunter of rogue creatures that threatened neighborhoods, leaving lilies behind wherever they went. They made a name for themselves as the Cranium Hunter for they collected the skulls of their quarry. On one of their hunts, they got injured and found shelter in a... suspicious looking manor. A few hours later, an angry seeker comes home to see a tiny guide on her porch. Some part of the seeker screamed to dispose of the guide but a bigger part of her knew that she should take care of them... William would approve, anyways. After a few days, Chauncey knew they were at full health again but... they didn't want to leave. Venice, the seeker, was obviously in pain and they wanted to help. Deciding to stick with and eventually bond with Venice, the two helped each other heal the scars of the past.
Chauncey is a very quiet guide, like her sister. Despite being a guide of few words, their presence always seems to liven up the room. They are always the first to arrive and the last to leave, and they always seem to understand what you are trying to say. She never fails to delight her best friend, Etoile, and family with her dark humor that only emerges with the people she is most comfortable around.
