Mercy is a side character and protagonist of my comic CURSED LIGHTS! Adoptive daughter of the Tribe Leader, Walter, Mercy has always been the golden child of the tribe. She sheds some compassion on the newly cursed Doggo, befriending her despite their unlikely circumstances.

At surface level, Mercy is very bubbily and extroverted. She loves to be around those she cares about. She's always down to lend a helping hand, to cheer someone up, or just be general company. She is a bit of a people pleaser, and selfless almost to a fault. She ends up being manipulated into things pretty easily, and it's easy for beings to shut her down if she tries to stand up for herself. She also tends to be impulsive when doing things for other people, just thinking about how she is "helping" them, forgetting that there could be possible consequences. For someone who rationally thinks things through... she kind of slips up there haha. As far as anyone knows, Mercy never has much going on, she's always bright and happy and beaming. She has a tendency to put on a bright face and pretend everything is okay, even when it isn't. She keeps her feelings to herself, not wanting to burden anyone, and it is almost impossible to get her to open up about how she really feels. Usually her ears are an indicator of her feelings, they tend to droop if she's feeling something negative. She also will sprout feathers on her wrists/arms when feeling extreme bouts of negative emotions or stress.

Important note: Mercy is "mute" in her spirit form! For some reason she never gained the ability to properly speak when in her spirit form, but she can make typical owl noises.
