Personality

❁ Amiable:You'll find that Jason is very hard not to like, unless you the type of person that goes around hating everything. And trust me, Jason understands that not everyone gets along, but for the most part he tries to never judge a book by its cover. he's always been a fairly easy guy for anyone to get along with, and even in High School he was known for having friends in every clique. He's an excellent people person, which is obviously a very good thing if he wants to be a journalist. Often, the first words out of his mouth to any person, whether he's known them for years or their complete strangers, is a compliment. It's not that he's a suck up or anything, he just knows what a good compliment can do for a person. Check out his cell phone, and you'll see his was bucket loads of friends, although he honestly has only a few close friends that he'll actually share and personal information with. But, that doesn't keep people from inviting him to hang out, there's a party almost every night, but whether or not Jason shows up, depends on if their could be a story there. 
❁ Great Listener: Again, Jason has to be a good listener. He doesn't just pay attention to the words, but the tones and he always searches for any hidden meanings behind them. He knows how to get a scoop on a story without actually having it told to him word for word. That's not to say he aims to make everything everyone tells him into some story in a newspaper. If you feel like you need someone to confide in Jason knows how to put his personal life above his work life. He would never think of hurting someone like that. Some people might notice that while they're talking to him, he may be looking around the room, or looking somewhere other then at their eyes. (No, he doesn't stare at boobs, unless they're just out in the open for anyone to see!) He's gotten called out on this before, some people really don't like when they don't have eye contact, but if your words were important enough for him to remember, he'll repeat exactly what you said while he was looking around the room. 
❁ Optimistic: There is very little that can deter this guy's perpetual good mood. That's not to say he doesn't have his bad days, trust me when he does let something get to him he can agonize over it for days. But, for the most part he can find the brightest bit of light in the deepest closet. Even if it's not obvious right away, he can turn a dim situation around one way or another. he really can't stand when people just can't seem to find a positive twist to something. Sure, people might have their problems, but why do they just torture themselves with these problems instead of fixing them! There's always room to grow, and unless you let yourself grow then I guess you're be stuck in the bottom of that closet forever. Jason on the other hand, always has he hand on the door.

❁ Unreliable:Jason may be a dependable person when he's with you, he'll listen to anything you have to say and stick with you so long as that's what you want. But, if he's made an appointment with someone, and somewhere during the day he's gotten caught up in some interesting work, he's gone to the rest of the world. When it comes to his hobbies, or his work, if he's enjoying himself he's happy to stay exactly where he is. It's because of this that he has to reschedule almost all of his Dentist, Doctor, etc. appointments, and he often warns people that he can be late. Usually he's not late for interviews, when it comes to his Journalism, but occasionally he cane get caught up in sailing, or a new musical rift that he can completely forget any previous appointments. He's attempted keeping a day planner, but it's usually too full, or he completely forgets about it. So, he's hopeless. 
❁ Restless:Jason hates the though of ever being lazy. If he finds he's sitting at home, doing nothing, he immediately has to fix his situation. He'll waste his time cleaning his room, or rearranging everything on their shelves, organizing his notebook, playing his guitar, or if the whether is nice, breaking out Voyager (his sailboat) on Lake Meringue. He might call up one of his few friends to hang out, but usually if he was sitting around at home being lazy, then it's because no one wanted to hang out that day. No, Jason isn't fidgety, unless he;s in a particularly boring class but he has to be there. In that class, don't sit next to him (or around him period) unless you can stand the sounds of licking pens, chewing gum, and doodling! 
❁ Private: Jason may be a social butterfly, but he's not about to reveal something about his personal life any time soon. Only a select few of his close friends know of his family life and his goals in life. He keeps his private life, social life, and family life all separate. A few people have called him out for this in the past, but once you point out to him that he's not really saying anything about himself, that's when he turns around and walks away. He just, doesn't want every single person he knows, knowing what's up with his life. If he feels there's something about him you need to know, then you'll know. Till then, don't ask. That's the fastest way to push him away. 

 Jason's History

Jason was born in Canada to a couple that had been married for just going on a year. His Mother was a Business woman, well a very relaxed Business woman, who owned her own bookstore. She didn't come form money, but had worked very hard with her own parents to secure her own stores and make it fairly successful. His father on the other hand, came from a long line of Doctors. There were high expectations on his fathers shoulders and it could be said that some members of his family were disappointed with his choice in his Bride. But there was one thing for certain, the couple was very much in love. They looked forward to having a family of their own.

Shortly after Jason was born, tragedy hit the family in the form of Charlotte losing her best friend. Lizzie had been a single mother to a small two-year old girl and with no other living family members Charlotte was entrusted with Jessica, a rather lively girl who would grow into his mother's apprentice at work. Two years after the adoption of Jessica and birth of Jason, Ebony was born. The family lived happily together in Ontario for five years. Jason was already showing a lot of promise in following in his father's footsteps, both in sailing and Medicine. However, a rather large move was in store for the family when Charlotte's mother passed away in Destiny City. Wanting to be close to her father they family discussed what to do about the situation. Around a month later the family moved to Destiny City in order to be closer to David.

Despite moving to Destiny City to be closer to David, he really hasn't had a whole lot to do with his grandchildren. He does adore his daughter however and has managed to survive for quite some time without his beloved wife at his side. Time went on and Jason had a fairly good childhood, although once he enrolled in an all boy's school, Azure Valley Academy, he started to feel burnt out on school. Studying was a pain and the thought of having to follow in his father's footsteps to become a Doctor started to become overwhelming. At the same time he was starting to loose touch with his sister, Ebony, as well. She was enrolled in Crystal Academy and somehow managed to make the worst friends while she was there.

Life started to take a bit of a spiraling turn for Jason as he tried to do his best just to keep up in school in order to get into a college in the area. He lost track of what Ebony was up to and flat out avoided Jessica whenever he had the chance. He got into arguments with his father about his future and worked fewer and fewer shifts at his mother's bookstore. He certainly loved his family, but he found his personal life to be rather stressful. He spent a lot of time out sailing when he could and developed a hobby for photography and journalism. The one joy he had in school was working on the School's newspaper and yearbook.

Reluctantly he enrolled at Destiny City University as a Pre-med student. His first semester is already behind him and he was quite miserable with his schooling. behind his parents back he has changed his Major, Communication and Art are his new focus. He hopes to become a reporter, enjoy his music, and try to strike out on his own path for a change....
