Teresa Calloway

(NOTE: Teresa's a self-insert based on certain events from older roleplays on TC, but I'm reforming them so that way I get to have her happy ending on a character tangentially related to her. She's not a lesbian due to the fact that I didn't consider myself a lesbian at that time. This is me working to heal my past, in a sense.)

A child who enjoyed singing, Teresa was noticed by a talent agent while visiting her school, leading her parents to thrust her wholeheartedly into the life of a child singer and star. She started her career on a children's show, her career maturing as she did; she was a popular teen singer, and became a proper singer and actress in her own right as an adult as she worked to distance herself from her childish image.

She met Victor Burgess, an actor, during one of the films she starred in; he was playing a side character, but the two nonetheless began to speak to each other. Teresa would have sworn they'd clicked, and the two were engaged a year after dating, marrying another year later.

Things were initially happy, especially as Victor's career began to lift along with Teresa's. However, Teresa was still considered the superstar of the two, which didn't help with Victor's own insecurities about being considered inferior to his wife. He began to cheat on her repeatedly, gaslighting her whenever he could, and the culmination of the marriage was when Teresa found Victor in bed with one of her close friends.

After that, the divorce trial that resulted was highly publicized. The couple had been married for five years, their wedding had been a grand affair, and they'd been together in various films after their marriage. Everyone was shocked to hear that a divorce would be going through, let alone one with a trial involved.

Teresa's secretary, her maid, and several of her friends testified against Victor, showing the truth that Teresa was afraid to see at the time. Victor had insisted on not signing a prenup when they were married, thinking he would end up flipping the script, but his own tactic worked against him. By the end of the trial, Victor's name was practically mud, Teresa was the long-suffering wife who was manipulated by her own husband, and the assets were divvied accordingly.

She took a year off from her career after that, expressing a desire to go to therapy after such a long and arduous trial, while thanking those who supported her. In addition, those who helped testify in the trial were given lavish gifts and, in the case of those who were working with her, high raises. This further solidified her place in the media as a good person caught in a bad situation, and her year hiatus allowed her to soak in the desires of her fans and those around her.

Her desire to heal eventually led her to buy a Kittybot, customizing him to be gorgeous and aiming to have what she wanted out of her husband: love and loyalty. When she returned to her career, everybody was eager to buy a Kittybot thanks to seeing her with Dusleros; a documentary involving her healing process was made, which further boosted this popularity.

Currently, she still acts and sings, and is a happier woman for having her own Kittybot.
