They're pretty good at this. They use this skill to convince people to commit to sinning, such as ecouraging them to steal something, or be horrid to someone for no good reason.

Singing
They're not amazing at it, notably due to their accent, but are good at leading a choir.

Board games
As mentioned previously, they have a knack for backgammon and chess. Participating in gambling is something they find entertaining, especially when they can make people give away all their life savings.

Has good aim
This skill is pretty useful when he goes out hunting rabbits, or humans, on the rare occasion

Charm
While being a foul individual at heart, they are very alluring and charming, not to mention charismatic. They use this to their full advantage to convince others to do ill things.

Rosary beads [ Effect: For praying ]
A necklace of dark wooden beads, worn smooth from being held so much.

Poison vial [ Effect: Highly dangerous; will kill ]
This is a concoction made from deadly nightshade and foxgloves Deryck has collected to form a deep ruby-coloured solution.

Lockpicks [ Effect: Unlocks locks ]
Used in the event of a sticky situation

Church keys [ Effect: Unlocks the church doors ]
A selection of great rusted keys used for a variety of doors- the bell tower, the crypt, the rafters, the tunnels, etc...

Bone comb [ Effect: For tidying hair ]
This is a hand-carved comb from a passing chapman. It is made of bone from an unknown creature. It is a very pretty item, with a vine motif made of gold leaf on its handle.

Hat pin [ Effect: Holds up one's hat ]
A lavish golden pin stolen from Lady Meier when she visited the valley many centuries ago. It is around 4-5 inches long, with a sizable garnet. It is elaboratly decorated with gold details. Deryck now uses this as his own hat pin.

Perfume vial [ Effect: Smells very nice ]
A small glass vial of a deep mauve perfume. The scent is fragrant and smells somewhat of aconitum.

Ration book of sins [ Effect: Used in the case of an emergency ]
Used as a last-ditch effort to provide some energy if desperate. It lists off many different sins in great detail, providing a burst of energy.

Forms

Humanoid

This is Deryck in his usual form: bipedal, looks human, talks normal, just doing human stuff.

This form is reserved for everyday activities, such as guidig sermons, going out and about, and mainly just for being around people in general. In this form, Deryck doesn't have many special powers or abilities, other than being able to consume sin and all that. This human form can be harmed; it can scar and bleed like any other, but is stronger than the typical human, despite not looking all too strong.

Serpentine

This is Deryck in his serpentine form, which is a gigantic snake with enormous red glowing eyes. It stands at roughly 10-15ft tall, and has fangs the length of a forearm. Their scales are smooth when brushed downwards, but when brushed upwards they are razor-sharp and can slice flesh with ease. Their body is a very deep crimson colour, the colour of fresh blood. This form can still speak as usual, but their words are more raspy and serpentine-like. In the moonlight, their scales glitter with gold and jewels, and their blood is equally as delectable and golden, especially as it is pure molten gold. They can crush a person's head in their jaws without issue, and can crush a human in their tail like a rice cracker. This form only appears when Deryck has either recently consumed some very powerful and strong sins, or if it is a blood moon. Deryck enjoys being in this form, as it gives him so much power and grace. Their humanoid form is only a temorary farce they hold to keep the illusion that they are human. This is their true form.
