Ezekiel, twin brother to Aiolen, is a 213-year-old Astral (formerly elf) and talented mage. Although the two brothers were once close, they have grown to be as opposite as night and day. Ezekiel, in violent contrast to his brother, is polite, patient, and stately, with a love of the written word and an immense scholarly knowledge. As his title denotes, he is a renowned alchemist specializing in High Celestial magic. His power mostly lends itself to behind-the-scenes, 'slow' magic such as potions, rune work, and charms, and while his brother is incredible in combat Ezekiel falls behind in that regard. He has a love of tea, books, and astronomy, locating himself in the midst of Inozen's capital city.

Much like his brother, Ezekiel wandered into the eye of an intense magical storm nearly two hundred years ago. He was intensely affected by this encounter, as exhibited by his pale blue hair, luminous turquoise eyes, large curved horns, and Astral markings. Although the two were renounced from society at first (as most Astrals are), Ezekiel gained favor through his sunny disposition and benevolent ways- his newfound magic didn't hurt either. Aiolen, however, held a grudge against society and was far slower to return to it.
