Ryuukata
Y'know, like dragon yukata? Also considered ryuumono.

Ryuukata are dragons born amidst eastern festivals. Much like lanterns, their souls too get ignited.
Newly formed ryuukata are playful like the flames that brought them to life, spending the rest of the night enjoying the festival. Small, these dragons slumber once the festival is over, and within a week of rest, their body matures to be that of a fully grown ryuukata.

Curious of the human culture, these spirits have a natural instinct to wander after the first person that crosses their path upon awakening. Harmless and invisible to the human eye, they're embodiments of good fortune. Some would call them guardian spirits. If one so happened to follow you home, consider yourself blessed for the rest of your days. Ryuukata imprint on the first person they see, and their lifespan too becomes connected with said person. Once the human passes on, so does the light of that particular spirit.

It is said that even the gloomiest of homes become warmer when a ryuukata inhabits it. No one household can host two or more of these dragons. They aren't restricted to the home either, and can freely follow their human, though they cannot stray too far from them. Whenever a new dragon moves into a nearby home, these social critters get excited to make friends and constantly meet on rooftops, chatting away the night. They do not need sleep, nor food.

Although incapable to directly affect a humans safety, these dragons can sense danger and warn their human through a 6th sense. If one ever feels like they're being watched, or like something is off, it might just be their ryuukata alarming them of oncoming problems. Sometimes people should really listen to their gut feeling. Sudden hesitation and doubt too are their handiwork. And that sudden feeling to spontaneously do a bold move? Ryuukatas can predict good opportunities, too, hinting to their humans to take them.

Don't take this species or any mentioned "rarities" super seriously LMAO. I just like having themes when I work on stuff,
and kimono inspired dragons is something I've been thinking abt for a while. It's all lore-based than real CS rarity chart or whatever.
I don't have the energy to get into defined CS, yet I like writing lore.... anyway.
