Grendel

A new arrival on board, Frances — or Grendel, as they've introduced themself — hasn't really found their place on the Snag yet. There's a tension in their heart between some newfound sense peace and an increasing restlessness, but Grendel isn't one to talk about their feelings. They have a tender heart for the natural world, especially birds, a re-emerging passion that was lost somewhere along the way as they grew older.

Though she's poor at relating to people, including herself, Grendel is a curious and social person who spends her time wandering the decks and getting to know the others on board and what they do. She tries to understand them in the ways she can.
