09 || CLOUD COUNTRY
Stardew Valley has been eating up my soul, so why not make a code inspired by it? I haven't coded in a while (due to school and also this game), so this was a nice refresher. Feel free to change categories and such to suit your non-SDV needs! Mary and her art belong to me, stock photos are taken from Pexels, and game graphics are taken from the SDV Wiki.

ABOUT
Mary is an optimistic and energetic lady who inherits her late grandmother's farm in Stardew Valley. She takes every obstacle with a smile on her face, and she always strives to have as much fun as possible while she works. She also loves giving people a helping hand.
As much as she puts up her friendly and positive attitude, sometimes a certain sadness slips from her smile.
DESIGN

- She's named after Mary from Harvest Moon: (More) Friends of Mineral Town!
- Mary is my main save in the game. She is almost a semi-sona, but she's got a story of her own and I've mostly separated myself from her.
- Honeydale is the name of a city that a good chunk of my original characters reside in. I'm kind of bad with names.
PERSONALITY
Mary is very optimistic and enthusiastic. She's always diligent with whatever task she finds herself into. "Half-assing" is not in Mary's vocabulary. She's used to doing the best she could while having as much fun as she can. She's also very friendly and approachable, and she tends to listen more than talk about herself. She's great with keeping secrets. Listening to other people's problems inspires her to try and help others as much as she could.
The downside of this is that Mary is a severe workaholic, and she finds herself exhausted from helping others and working way too often, in which she always shrugs it off. She tends to prioritize others before herself. Most of the time she gets so engrossed in her tasks that she forgets to slow down and take a break. Because of her helpful nature, she's also quite a pushover.

Mary finds herself drawn to Harvey's nerdiness. That, and also she gets constantly hurt in the mines. However, she still bonds with him outside the clinic. Mary finds him very calming.
Maru is one of Mary's very first friends in Pelican Town. She loves listening to Maru's ramblings and helps her out sometimes in her projects. Mary thinks she's very cool!
Mary and Penny bond over their mutual friends as well as taking care of the children of Pelican Town. Mary thinks she's very sweet!
