Character traits:
It only takes one sentence to sum up his personnality - A shy, small boy that seems to be afraid of everything and anything. Of course there is more on his character, but the first impression of most people is exactly that. Fukuro tends to avoid any contact with other people, though his biggest desire is to be a a real human. His lack of self-esteem and fear of loosing somone or getting hurt also explains his problems with getting friends, since every time someone actually tries getting in contact with him he just avoids them more to not get attached to them.
But once you actually get the chance to get to know this "shy creature", you'll see that behind this wall of "stay away from me qAq" is a person really missing contact and quite wanting to have others around. He can actually get really talkactive - at least for his standards - and even more confident. Actually, once he really considers you a friend, he will quite behave the opposite of his personality and be quite....cuddly. He likes to have Body contact with others and as mentioned, being cuddled, but to get this part of him out you have to put quite much effort and time into it!
Backstory:
Fukuro, a forest spirit, was the youngest of three siblings. Together with his familiy he lived in a big tree where they had their nest. Though Fukuro always was more of an introvert and also most of the time refused to practise learning it better, his parents still were patient and loved him just as much as the others did.
The only problem that Fukuro had, was the fact that he was no normal owl, but a spirit. These days, a spirit just shoudn't stay on eaths and soon, a something called them away, a strange force pulling them away. Most of the spirits had left and only Fukuros Family was left, trying to resist the force, so Fukuro could at least practice flying more before they left. At last it got to stronge and the had to leave. Half way through, Fukuro lost control and crashed on the ground, breaking his left wing. Desperatly his family tried to carry him or somthing, but the force just carried them away, strangly not affecting Fukuro. It was, like even the strange force had given up on him. The next months were a living hell for him. He had to somehow mange to get food, not get eaten by predators and somehow get his wing healed right.
It was at the time he nearly gave up, as he found a button on the forest ground, coverd by some leaves. He quite liked it, since it had his eye color and he decided taking it with him, since it was just pretty.
Since he was a spirity, he had the ability to turn into differnet shapes, but since Fukuro all over all seemed to not have many abilites the other spirits had, he decided to practise to just turn into one species differente to his own.
As a "guide" he acted as if the button was the base of his strengh, so he could concentrait more. Somehow it seemed like this was exactly what he needed. After what seemed ages to him, he managed to be able to turn into a human, what was a big success for him. Though, he soon realizes that he wasn't able to change forms without the button he use to practise. One one hand, this was quite useful, since he sometimes just tended to turn back into his owl form once not concentraited, on the other, he now was quite paranoid of loosing it and being stuck into one side. He also found out, that taking off the button for a a bit and putting it back then, would set his "main form" on the form he took the button off.
Once being able to be more "human like" in behaviour he moved into a town, but as expected he wasn't really fitting in. His unusual looks and strange behavious, especially being that introvert made most people stay away, what was just fine for him.
He started studiying - acutally just sneaking in the courses in his owl form and taking notes - biology and made his nest, since he coudn't affort a house himself, in an olf appartment that is quite damaged and uninhabited. His biggest desire became to be a a human, since he nor was a proper spirit, nor owl. Though he never would be a true human too, he felt the most confortable in this world.

Surely Fukuro realized that he coudn't live that live anymore, so he decided to actually get things going. Through quite much work and exhaustion he managed to work all his way up until he could become what he saw as the pervect job for him - a teacher. He now teaches german and biology at several schools, having his own house and "human life." It was also then when he decided to use "Fukuro" as his last name and some random name, he came up with "Sam" as his first name.
