Personality

3705354_9QBhmVNe2nhfu5c.pngCover Personality: For a simple librarian, Nahor seems to exude a rather hefty amount of charisma, and he's very clearly not afraid to use it in his advantage. While he seems to be at home within the archives of his work place, he's also just as comfortable in social situations, and moves around like he owns the place, whether this be true or not.

Particularly keen people might be able to notice the man is clearly not what he seems; there is a dark edge to him, and it's clear he has a sadistic streak about a mile long. The only counter to this being the young Mitzi, whom he seems entirely enamored with. In fact, the two don't really look like a match at all, because where the young girl is sunshine, Nahor thrives on being slightly mean spirited and snarky. He only seems to reveal a softer side to Mitzi herself, which makes people wonder what her secret is.

Real Personality: Unlike Mitzi, Nahor is not trying to repress his base personality or put up a facade. What you see is what you get. He's not going to behave any differently under guise than he would alone with his fiance. At least not for the most part anyhow. He's been around for a rather long time, by demon standards, and has learned to adapt with civilization rather nicely. He fared particularly well in the renaissance era and has since adopted a persona that fits well within the time. He's elegant, intelligent, charismatic... and if you turn your back and give him half the chance, he'll opt to straight out murder you.

He seems fixated with humanity, mostly, because that's where he draws most his energy and power from. He doesn't necessarily need to kill them to do so... but it's a bonus as far as he's concerned. He tends to stay away from Chthon and Gods, and is smart and experienced enough to usually recognize these magical signatures. He's rather high up in the demonic pecking order, but he usually also tends to stay away from others of his species in the same "You leave me alone, and I won't fuck with you" sort of way. Fae are not nearly as alluring as humans are, but he goes on a case by case basis around them.

Quirks

He's kind of your average Joe here, in the ability department (or is he? DUN DUN DUN). Granted, has a knack for organization to the point of being compulsive, and a memory the size of a small planet (No really, give him the telephone book for a sec, tell him to memorize a page and ask him to tell you Schmoe Smuck's number; he will remember it), but honestly, that aside... he's pretty normal.

People seem to agree that there seems to be a strange aura of dread around him, and you probably don't want his gaze fixed on your for long, but his fiance would like to tell you this is all pish posh. Nonnie's great.

Just make sure to return your book on time, Bucko, and God help you if you turn it in in bad shape.

History

Cover Story: Not much is known about Nahor, except that he works at the Library in Manteo.

How he has taken charge of the place, or why he's there, nobody knows. The last librarian simply... vanished one day, as is wont to happen in the area, and he appeared in their stead. Nothing seemed to indicate something bad had happened to them; just that the librarian left in a hurry. Perhaps due to family business, most likely.

What ever the reason though, there's been rumors going around that most smart people keep well away from the building and the hawk eyed librarian within.

Real Story: Nahor can't remember anything from the time before he accidentally set foot in Oblivion. He knows he had a life once upon a time; his scythe is testament of that, but he can't seem to breach and recall it. He's since given up on it, and once he came out of Oblivion simply decided to take life one day at a time; he had urges... and he simply went to satisfy them. Time and experience taught him which creatures to mess around with, and which ones to avoid at all cost. And so life kept on moving.

At some point, Nahor came across Mitzi and well... the rest is history best saved for another day.
