teddy is a ringox made from an old, loved child's toy. basically, the toy was loved for many years and gained a level of sentience a la the velveteen rabbit. when the owner died, some god took pity on the toy and made it real. thus: teddy.

teddy is a kindly spirit who helps children in their hour of need. teddy is quite good with children in a very grandparently kind of way, and wants to make sure as many as possible are safe and happy. their heart is full of love. well, mostly love for children. teddy spends most of their time on their own, and has few adult friends because they find that adults cause many of the problems in the world, problems that are too large for their little bear brain. it leads them to leave a hermetic lifestyle.

teddy doesn't have a gender in the person sense, as they are first and foremost a teddy bear. having proper sapience and becoming a ringox doesn't change that. as a rule, teddy prefers not be be gendered by peers and prefers being referred to by name over any sort of pronoun. however, they don't care too much if kids give them a gender tho.
