Personality

WC: 118

Devote - Knowledgeable - Forgiving - Sturdy

To all mages that treat their magic and the magical use of others with respect, Wyetta looks upon them with favor. Those people will see her peaceful side and will be gifted her easy-going nature. Young ones are mothered and the people of Faline are greatly loved by her, and thus over the years, they are relieved to see her.

However as a guard in a line of duty, her tongue can become sharper than any blade ever wielded and witty enough to make any criminal admit to their crime. She has a very commanding aura, if not for her current rank as a Mage Protector, Wyetta is easily seen as a Guard Captain.

History

WC: 653

Riches during Wyetta’s upbringing were not measured by coin, but by color and joy. She was born into a culture soaked society in the slums of Faline to what some would consider a rather large family. Being born in Faline means plenty of exposure to mages of all kinds, each with their unique magical abilities that added to the excitement of her life, but in the slums magic became their way of life. Some were born with this gift, some were not. The family she lived in however, magic was inherited through the many generations. Her parents had the help of their parents in teaching the children how important it was to have balance in life. There was a time for work, and a time for play. Being the baby in the family meant she had plenty of attention by the other children and the adults, but when she discovered her magic, her parents sent her to schooling in the deeper parts of the rich city. Wyetta was the only one out of the siblings to go.

Coming from a poor family her young mind was not exactly sure why they had scraped their finances together just for her to live in quarters and be mixed in with the children of the Order mages, but as she grew older she understood. With the strict guiding hand of the experienced mages they uncovered the raw power her magic truly held. It was to become one of many changing points in her life. Her teachers forced her to train twice as hard as the other children, study twice as long, and hold herself to expectations twice as high. It was a grueling way of life that began to take away her color. Her mind was focused on becoming the best she could be.

No matter her background, the ranks within the Order is where she now belonged.

By some miracle, Wyetta still made many friends in the Order. One individual in particular even grew to become her best friend. They were hard working individuals that spent their down time studying and discussing how to improve their abilities. Eventually they formed a pact, they would study together to become city Guards under the crown and make the streets a safer place for the people of Faline.

After one year of training and schooling in law, her friend completely disappeared. Wyetta was unable to search for them because she could not abandon her duties. The next few months of life were simply lonely. So she studied harder to become the best in her squad. That was when she received a letter. It was a cry for help from her friend. Wyetta snuck out during the night to aid her friend but when she arrived, it was too late for saving.

They became a hideous monster. It was like something out of her nightmares, something she forgot could happen to them. Her training was to protect the innocent and with the help of other powerful mages rising to the occasion, they fell the giant.

A bittersweet victory that even the King recognized, and crowned them heroes. Wyetta told not a soul about her friend. When the other mages held their heads with pride and boasted of their accomplishments, it was she that refused to join in celebration. Instead she returned to her duty and assisted in cleaning up the rubble.

Life had taught her a hard lesson, one she felt needed to be passed down to others going above and beyond in their training. That lesson was having balance. There was a time for work, and a time for play.

Today, five years from the incident, Wyetta still roams the streets as an officer of the Guard while wielding the title of Mage Protector. Certain days of the week she dedicates to teaching new mages in the order with a gentle, and the time she receives off, she returns home to bask in the colors.
