  • Professional coder who pays the bills through freelance + contracted company gigs.
  • Has a cool gamer setup! Really likes competitive multiplayer games and has multiple consoles set up.
  • Keeps a couple tanks of fish in their apartment, one in his room and one in her living room. They're very well attended to! Decked out with ecologically sound aquatic flora, proper sediment/pebbles, and good filters. They accept nothing less for their beloved fish, snails, and shrimp
  • Definitely an introvert. Maintains a loving circle/server of friends online and has very few real life friends. She definitely likes her space and any ventures outside the apartment are kept quick and simple. Very reserved at first, and takes a while to become close to.
  • When they DO open up, they're super fun! Snarky bursts of humor, very concerned for others wellbeing, somewhat rambunctious, likes to talk about various subjects/issues with considerable knowledge, and up for pretty much anything.

  • Takes meds for anxiety + depression, struggles greatly with a handful of phobias.
    • Ematapohbia (fear of vomiting). They plan their meals thoroughly and are Extremely hesitant to try new kinds of foods/medications/vitamins/etc. in fear that it will make them puke. This is also why the inside of her mouth isn't pierced at all! She's afraid the piercing will come out and be swallowed, triggering a bad gut reaction. Generally anything that's not supposed to be in his mouth he's vigilant avoid and things that are supposed to be in there (food, utensils, toothbrushes, etc.) are painstakingly monitored. Dentist appointments are terrible so he's quite attentive to his oral hygiene. If she's experiences any level of nausea, she has a panic attack until it goes away. Sometimes they'll have pseudo-nausea that wasn't even there before until they started thinking about it. Blends slightly into them being a hypochondriac.
    • Aquaphobia (fear of water). Not anything as simple as rain or a glass of water, but being submerged. The most prevalent anxiety with their aquaphobia is drowning. Mykell takes quick showers and absolutely cannot take baths; even water pooling near their feat in the bathtub makes them a bit anxious. On a good day they may be able to wade out into a clear body of water up to their hips; being able to actually see their limbs secures them in the knowledge that they are safe. They can barely submerge any amount of their body in water that is dark or murky, as soon as their body is no longer visible they freak out a little. On the rare occasion they attend a pool party, they tend to just sit by the water's edge and splash their feet around- that or they simply opt to avoid the pool entirely. If they were to ever lose their footing in the water, they'd probably run out immediately and cry shaking u_u
    • Tocophobia (fear of pregnancy/giving birth). They're not even sure if it's possible, but Mykell is terrified of ever becoming pregnant and coming to term with a baby. Lingering on the thought for too long gives them cold sweats. They can barely even be near a visibly pregnant person or talk about the pregnancy process without quickly becoming overwhelmed. The horror of having something growing in them that will require so much care and deliberation as it develops is simply terrifying. Usually this fear is fairly mild, but when she gets particularly anxious (even if she knows logically there's no way she could become pregnant), she'll still frantically take pregnancy tests. Even if the tests show up as negative, if the fear is particularly unrelenting, they will go to get checked out. They're fairly well known at the doctor's office.
