Rilan Macer was born to a rich merchant. At a rather young age, Rilan discovered the magic of Nature within him and it was already decided in advance to send him to the Academy of Magic after school. But, unfortunately, neither during his studies at a regular school, nor at the Academy, he was not interested in ordinary classes. He was often distracted, skipped a lot of classes. Because of this, he graduated from the Academy with only "satisfactory" grades.
After graduation, Rilan realized that trading expensive fabrics and jewelry was not for him. The guy decided to combine his knowledge that his father gave him about trading with his old hobby and magic and start growing and selling vegetables and fruits. The father did not understand this choice, but still supported his son, buying him a farm and a piece of land in Kotara, where Rilan moved to permanent residence.
When Rilan decided to confess his sexual orientation to his parents, the mother and father were very surprised and upset. But most importantly, they were afraid to ruin their reputation, which is why they gently asked Rilan to give up his last name and keep contacts to a minimum. Rilan agreed, although he felt betrayed. But even despite this, the parents continue to financially support their son, secretly sending him money.
Rilan met Liev and Di when Sarah asked them to go to a "good guy" for groceries.
