Danielle Kurai

A very stern Darkrai with some amount of fame as a fashion model. Several luxury clothing brands seek her out to model their new lines, and she is quite well-off as a result. She has a mystifying presence and is rarely ever seen without her face mask, which hides a large scar over her mouth. Danielle tends to come off as cold or downright unfriendly to new people, driving them away before they can bring harm to her. She upholds a very neutral and formal attitude with the photographers and company representatives that have worked with her. Aside from her career as a model and taking care of her family, Dani practices witchcraft during her leisure time and is constantly honing her magical abilities. She has a potent spell of slumber which afflicts the victim with sleep paralysis or horrid nightmares, which she uses exclusively for retribution against those who've genuinely angered her or brought distress to her family. These nightmares can get so awful that they can cause the victim's consciousness temporarily to separate from their body. Bullies who once picked on her children and those who harassed her husband alike sooner or later found themselves not wanting to sleep at night out of fear of such night terrors.

Danielle is in a secret relationship named with a man named Kris, who has two adopted children named Shane and Minerva. She is a mother figure to these children. She is much kinder to her partner and his children than she is to any other person that she interacts with, as they are the only people that she genuinely trusts. Kris's powers as a Cresselia cancels Dani's own powers, protecting the children from the night terrors they would otherwise face from being asleep around Dani. One of Kris's Lunar feathers is enough to ward off Dani's nightmares, so there is a feather in every room in the house and one carried by each of the children, Kris, and Dani herself. She doesn't take offense to this since she made the suggestion in the first place.
