Jones

Jones previously worked as a scientist and engineer on a secret government space station. After narrowly escaping a disaster that befell the station with her life (but losing her sibling and her eye) she abandoned her previous identity and began a new life as a humble mechanic. That said, despite appearing to have moved on, Jones harbours a deep resentment for the death of her sibling.

Among Sterling's crew Jones serves a sort of paternal role, and is fiercely protective of her crewmates. She appears jaded and gruff but the truth is she struggles to express herself emotionally. She is most casual around Sterling, as she feels a sort of kinship with him and therefore doesn't fear judgement from him.
