- Wand is a pine wood with a unicorn hair core, 10 3/4 and hard flexibility. Rey holds his wand in a reverse grip, causing many other witches and wizards to comment on it, which gets him really riled up.
- Patronus is a Badger (he gets embarrassed about it sometimes).
- Scar on right leg was from an attack from a tiger when he was on a trip to study large cats (can cause him a struggle when walking sometimes). The burn marks/scars on his hands are from a time he picked up a Bundimun during potions class... obviously not a good idea.
- Majored in Potions and Arts (both muggle and magic art).
- Very reserved and hates loud places, however, he hates being alone. He loves to make snarky comments towards people yet absolutely hates getting scolded if he goes to far with something. As you can tell, he's a very conflicting person. Also has a VERY bad potty mouth. Also has a knack for saying applesauce to substitute some swear words.
- If he went to Hogwarts, he would have been sorted into Slytherin.
Born into a wealthy family in Australia, Rey's mother (non-magic) and father (magic) loved their son very much. He was sent to magic school once he begun exhibiting signs of magic. He hated leaving his family, yet he enjoyed school a lot (despite getting into trouble most times). He soon started exhibiting interest in non-magic animals (cats, dogs etc) and begun trying to study to become a teacher in that area.
In his 6th year, during potion's class, he was tasked in creating doxycide, a potion used in the help of removing Doxies. And that means he needed to juice a Bundimun's acid. This caused him to burn his hands (he got it everywhere, scared the bundimun when picking it up and spilled his potion).
He graduated school and went on to study Art and Potions, which he majored in then he begun travelling the world to study non-magical animals. In one of his travels, he was attacked by a tiger, thankfully only "grazing" his right leg. The large scars on his leg cause him to limp at some points and sometimes his leg gets really sore if he walks on it for too long.
He becomes acquainted with the Goldstein sisters, Tina and Queenie, when he visits America. Along the way he meets Jacob and Newt. He took a liking to Newt due to his passion on magical creatures and joins him and the others to save New York from the Obscurial. Rey asks Newt if he was willing let him work under him as an apprentice, yet Newt politely declines (much to Rey's disappointment). During the adventure in New York, Rey made it more than obvious that he really really liked Newt, however, the poor Magizoologist seemed hesitant with the flirting that Rey was doing, opting to ignore it (again, much to Rey's disappointment).
He also helps Newt during the great Wizard war against Grindelward, however, he seems to disappear after the war when Newt and Tina get married, not leaving a trace of anything behind.
For the longest time, Rey has had a massive crush on Newt. The Magizoologist never acted on Rey's flirting and obvious attraction, making Rey rather upset. According to Rey, he'd much rather upfront rejection than getting his feelings ignored by the one he loves. And for Newt, well he did fancy Rey, however, he was afraid to act on these feelings due to the stigma that surrounded homosexuals at the time. But, he fancied Tina way more than Rey to begin with.
