FOR THE SNAKES ARE PEOPLE AU

Born and raised in a small, tight knit family, Kaya was a loyal boy. That said, the tight knit part of his family never quite applied to his parents. Rather, they were quite neglectful, and often off and busy with their jobs. Thus, he found it within his responsibility to take care of his two younger siblings, a pair of twins by the name of Hideaki and Hideyo.
Despite the hardships of life; Things were good. Kaya was happy, and so was his family.
At least, until an intrusion about their household. There was a break-in, by someone with a gun, and the clear intent to kill; Perhaps sparked by his parents' shady business affiliations.
Kaya managed to hide Hideaki, but Hideyo and himself were killed. They were taken into the Haze, where Kaya gave himself up for his little brother, and created the Snake of Awakening Eyes. He lost his memories, his personality, and his sense of self with it.
Shortly after returning to life Hideyo killed himself, returning The Snake of Awakening Eyes to the Haze, awaiting his next occupant.

Years later, after temporarily obtaining the body of his new host: Haruka, through some shady means, "Kaya", or The Snake of Awakening Eyes now as his known name, is no longer alone. Haruka has returned to the body, and has brought another snake with him: One by the name of Opening Eyes: A self loathing, but sweet, baby snake. He's quickly growing attatched to them. But will his sense of self begin to shatter if he were to meet the still living, now teenaged, Hideaki again?

Pre-death Kaya:
-Any normal kid basically
-Brown eyes
-Slightly chubby

Post Death Kaya:
-The same as above, but
-Feel free to draw with scales on his cheeks or arms, fangs, red eyes, snake eyes, or a forked tongue

Full Snake:
-Very dark (Almost pitch black) puff adder
