History

Born to a Summitwing mother and a Shadow wolf father, Mysera was raised in the depths of Forester woods, somewhere far away from either of her parent's origins. Her mother had several eggs but only Mysera survived. Her mother and father were constantly at odds, wondering who she would take after and what to feed her. Her mother wanted to raise Mysera in solitude as a Summitwing, but her father wanted them to remain a family. Mysera could hear them arguing every night. One of those nights when she was still very young, their growls turned to snarls and biting and claws. Her mother had chased her father far away from the den, never to be seen again.

As Mysera grew older, the memories of her father faded and she learned not to miss him. Her mother taught her how to fly and hunt in the trees, becoming a menace to the wolves of the forest. However, Mysera refused to hunt the nearby Forester pack; she couldn't see the wolves as food after watching them live and play together. When her mother left to hunt on her own, she slipped away to visit the pack, befriending two Forester pups named Cerako and Kaln. Mysera kept them secret from her mother while Cerako and Kaln kept silent about the strange Wind wolf near their home. Of course, the Forester pack knew about the adult Summitwing and her strange dark furred child. They caught their scent on Cerako and Kaln and reprimended the two, demanding they explain everything. On Mysera's end, her mother was furious and dove after the pack. In the shadow of night, she attacked the Foresters, killing Kaln and severly injuring Cerako.

Mysera ran away from home shortly after her mother betrayed her. She spent her teenage years traveling beyond the Forester woods. She made a name for herself when she began to take on jobs for other wolves, running errands or offering to fight for any group who needed an extra paw. She demonstrated herself as a skilled fighter and tracker. Eventually, an elusive group of Psychic wolves called "the Incarna" heard news of the dark furred Summitwing. They sent scouts to stalk her and prove something -- that she was a hybrid.

When she was alone, she was ambushed. A group of wolves surrounded and captured her. They tied her wings down by vines to lock her elemental energy and muzzled her. The wolves pulled her along for several days, looking at her like a prize rather than a wolf. Eventually they led her to the Psychic pack and dumped her in a cave. There, the pack tortured and performed experiments on her, referring to her simply as "the hybrid." As weeks passed, the testing slowed down until one day it stopped completely. They pulled her into the cave's inner sanctum where the floor and walls were scarred by sharp bloody symbols. The leader of the Psyhic group began to perform a demonic ritual with Mysera presented as the primary sacrifice. The psychic leader prepared a pack member as the first sacrifice, followed by another, with Mysera to be the last at the height of the ceremony. But as the ritual continued, something turned horribly wrong.

The demonic enitity appeared in a blaze of dark light and carnage. It slaughtered the Psychic leader and the nearby guards before turning on Mysera. It lunged at her and tore through the bindings tying her down, intending to kill her, before more guards ran in and attacked it. It knocked over and cut through many of them, but the pack's numbers were too great. As they were finishing it off, Mysera newly freed but injured, managed to escape. She ran away as fast as she could until she reached a cliff where she could take off with her now weakened wings. She couldn't stay airborn for long but she made it far enough to be safe and rest. Despite escaping the pack, she could still feel the demonic presence attached to her, becoming a part of her.

She had become the new master of the demonic summoning. Lost and afraid, she wanders, wondering what to do going forward and how to control this demonic entity now attached to her.

Abilities

Mysera was born with all of the elemental abilities of a Wind wolf. She inherited the Blood Scent and Blood Heal abilities from her Shadow side, allowing her to injest blood to track down opponents or to slowly heal her wounds.
