Lobb is a small amalgamate terror, a combination of a forest spirit and a fuzzy, but unnerving, spider. It can be found prowling around forests, when you're stranded and hopelessly lost. The fuzzy thing can be found cute and seem friendly, but whether this is decieving depends on who you are. When you're found by it, it considers itself an authority of judgement on whether you live or die. It is said that when you're tranced by its shimmering white fur, it can see directly into your soul and your deepest desires with its soulless, six eyes. If it considers you pure, it will let you live -- but only if you don't encounter it again, or else it might change its mind, if it's too hungry. If it doesn't... it will ensnare you in sticky fluid it secretes to make deadly webs, and eat you alive. Whether it saves you for later or brutally ravenously consumes you right away is dependant on its hunger. It can only be sustained by humans with the souls and desires they uniquely have, and the deeper and darker they are, the more filling. Its judgement is not always fair. It matters not to Lobb if you've changed your ways, all it cares about is feeding itself. But it's been known to be more brutal with those who hurt others and have no intention of stopping.

It does have reservations for judgement. Children are too pure by nature for them to sustain it sufficently, so even if they've done something awful or "lost their innocence", they will be spared entirely. This can be seen as some softness under the surface, but they're truly just indifferent to anything other than sustanance... supposedly.

However, sometimes, on cloudy nights, if sought hard enough, Lobb can be seen gazing wistfully over a singular riverbank in it's territory. While doing this, it is virtually harmless unless provoked by constant noise or by close physical interference. Some enthusiasts of Lobb theorize that, in a past life, Lobb wasn't what it is now, and lost someone very important to the river; a loved one, or even, itself.
