Buttercup is a very active doll, rarely ever staying in place. Her curious but childish ways tend to get her into trouble. When confronted with conflict or other humans she hides, scared of what they'll do to her. Despite that, she loves to do things for others when she has the time.

BIOGRAPHY

Buttercup's owner, Raeka, is a sickly and friendless girl. With the child's parents far to busy working, it was her grandmother that took care of her. For Raeka's seventh birthday, her grandmother gifted her Buttercup. Sadly, her grandmother passed on from old age soon after. Sad and alone, Raeka made a wish. The wish wasn't to bring her grandmother back though. She wished for a friend and it was this wish that brought the doll to life.

At first things were awkward between the doll and her human partner. Buttercup, even though she could understand Raeka, couldn't respond in return as she was mute. To fix this, she was given a little tablet to write on. The doll didn't know much though. Yes, she could write, but most fundamental things that children learn were unknown to her. To this day, Buttercup still doesn't know the most basic of things but is quickly learning.
