Personality-wise, Ilya is a taciturn and reserved boy who seemingly has trouble with interacting with people despite his age. Nonetheless, behind his introverted persona lies a stubborn will to understand and care for the peaceful world that was withheld from him at such a young age. For the time being, he lives with Mr. Dariusz Brzezinski—who recently took him in as his 'nephew.'.

• Ilya's favorite food is pancakes with chocolate syrup.
• Most of his clothes are hand-me-downs, the majority of it being too oversized for him.
• Ilya can only understand really basic Russian and could barely read it. Either way, he rarely speaks to other people.
