Arsenic doesn't exactly carry a good reputation with her and makes no effort to make one. The only thing she's mainly known for now is carrying out assassinations if she believes a job is worth the effort (not that she places much effort into it, as it doesn't take much to kill a human apparently). Although her ego is not as large as Mercury's, she doesn't hide it and declared herself superior upon arriving on Earth. Although not cult like like Mercury and Lead, Arsenic's "following" was mainly political leaders looking to do in other leaders and considered Arsenic to be a good chance of getting the job done. If they could convince her. She could easily kill the person asking.

She also believes that Gems are the lower species, considering most of them "drones", and that Metals had so much more to offer than "pretty looking rocks". She doesn't hesitate to attack Gems on sight and given the chance, she will shatter or crack the gemstone. Despite having no job on Homeworld before the Gems took over, as well as not a high standing or equal outlook on other Metals, she still believes it was better than after those worthless rocks decided to kill most of her species.
